Lava Land Adventure Tours offers a popular 3-hour excursion that puts you in the middle of Central Oregon's incredible volcanic lava beds and geological formations.  Hummer tours depart from the Lava Lands Visitor Center on Highway 97 between Sunriver and Bend.  All vehicles parked at the Visitor Center are required to pay a $5.00 Forest Pass fee.  This fee will allow you entrance to the Lava River Cave.

Our custom-built H1 and our professional drivers will take you on a safe and comfortable ride over rough terrain.  Our guides will entertain and educate you about the rich history and  unique volcanic geography of the area.  We will travel the back country of Central Oregon and into the Newberry National Volcanic Monument.  On the way you'll also view an informative DVD movie on volcanoes that sets the stage for this adventure.

The tour incorporates environmental awareness of Central Oregon's incredible natural wonders in Forest Service land.  You'll experience the awesome splendor of old growth forest, the panorama of the Cascade Mountain Range, spot some of the area's wildlife, and see first-hand the remains of cataclysmic volcanic eruptions.
