Dates of Operation

Season Start:   November 15, as snow levels allow
Season End:     May 31, as snow levels allow

You do not need prior experience to drive a Snowmobile on our tours. If you have never been before, we recommend the two-hour tour.   Each tour begins with an orientation on how to operate the machines, riding techniques, and trail etiquette. Prior to your departure, you will have the opportunity to get accustomed to the controls and operation of the machine (a practice loop or two in the parking lot) before heading out on the trail.

We maintain a ratio of 6 machines per one guide on our snowmobile tours.  The Forest Service has limited us to a maximum of 10 client snowmobiles and 2 guide snowmobiles on the trails at any given time.  We will only run this amount of machines on the trail for large groups.  We typically run 3 tours a day in peak season with 5 client snowmobiles and one guide.  The smaller tours allow for a more personalized trip.

You must arrive at the Wanoga Sno-park 30 minutes prior to the departure time in order to fill out the proper paperwork and be informed regarding trail ethics, safe operating practices and vehicle operation.

Reservations and Cancellations
In order to confirm a reservation, a full price deposit for all members of your party is required.  If you cancel or change the reservation 48 or more hours prior to the trip date, the deposit will be refunded.  On any cancellation or changes to the reservations (in any way) within 48 hours of the trip date, 50% of the deposit will be forfeited.

If for any reason Central Oregon Adventures cancels a trip, a full refund will be given.  This is very rare and should not be expected.

Please Note:  A non-refundable 4% booking fee will be charged for all reservations.

Security Deposit
A security deposit is required for each machine prior to departure. This deposit is held on a major credit card, which means no charges will be seen on your card unless you cause damage to the machine.

Prior to the departure and upon return, we will inspect the machine with you and note any damages. You are responsible for any and all damages to the machine that occurs while in your care.  We will provide a written estimate for repairs within 3-5 business days.  We will notify you of the estimate and then run the charges on the credit card left as a deposit unless other payment is arranged.

Any damage to a part constitutes full replacement of that part.  Full replacement of the equipment can run up to $7500.00 and can include additional recovery fees.

Damage Waiver
We offer a damage waiver for $20.00 per machine with a $750.00 deductible.  If you purchase the damage waiver and a machine is damaged, you will only responsible for up to $750.00 of the damages.  If the damage waiver is not purchased, you are responsible for the full damage amount, which can be up to $7500.00 for the full replacement cost, plus any additional recovery fees.
